  1. Did the person that gave it to you recently go on a cruise? If so, they probably received it free in a drawing. There are 9500 of them available. It should have come with a Certificate of Authenticity and appraisal from Park West Gallery for $430 w/o the frame. You can purchase it on E-Bay for around $100.

  2. I recently went on a cruise and the auctioneer gave Venice Yellow sunset when we bought two Thomas Kinkades as a honeymoon gift. We were going to sell it on E-Bay, but you said it only goes for $100, right? So would we be better off keeping it and hope that it appreciates? It is a beautiful art work.

  3. Yes that piece is beautiful – I got mine at the cruise too. E-Bay sell is for cheap might as well keep it and hopefully it will appreciates in the long run. Don’t count on the appraised value by Parkwest – they do will go up and down all the time. Other than that Parkwest is pretty good to me so far.

  4. Recently we won our “Venice Sunset” and was told it was worth unframes $600. I doubt that but we had it framed and it looks beautiful. I hope it will appreciate.

  5. Where did you get it framed. Have you ever priced a frame. My gosh I nearly fell over. Please let me know.

  6. I just won one of these on a cruise. I was told the same thing; that it’s valued at over $500.00. After doing a bit of research, I found out that the “original” is worth around $600.00. It is a nice piece of art, but how disheartening.
