Venice Yellow Sunset ![]() Venice Yellow Sunset Anatole Krasnyansky I mentioned this a while ago, and I thought I'd post it. I ain't no master of the camera or anything, so it's a little skewed and the color is off a bit, but you get the idea. It's hanging on my wall. Right next to all my movie posters. Very classy. a copy of this beautiful seriolithograph was a gift. do you have any idea what the value would be unframed? thank you very much, Posted by: sue long on December 6, 2003 9:14 AM
Somewhere around $400 I think... Posted by: Mark on December 7, 2003 9:26 AM
Did the person that gave it to you recently go on a cruise? If so, they probably received it free in a drawing. There are 9500 of them available. It should have come with a Certificate of Authenticity and appraisal from Park West Gallery for $430 w/o the frame. You can purchase it on E-Bay for around $100. I recently went on a cruise and the auctioneer gave Venice Yellow sunset when we bought two Thomas Kinkades as a honeymoon gift. We were going to sell it on E-Bay, but you said it only goes for $100, right? So would we be better off keeping it and hope that it appreciates? It is a beautiful art work. Yes that piece is beautiful - I got mine at the cruise too. E-Bay sell is for cheap might as well keep it and hopefully it will appreciates in the long run. Don't count on the appraised value by Parkwest - they do will go up and down all the time. Other than that Parkwest is pretty good to me so far. Posted by: David on January 8, 2004 10:36 AM
Recently we won our "Venice Sunset" and was told it was worth unframes $600. I doubt that but we had it framed and it looks beautiful. I hope it will appreciate. Posted by: Karol on February 19, 2004 12:07 PM
Where did you get it framed. Have you ever priced a frame. My gosh I nearly fell over. Please let me know. Posted by: julie on October 11, 2004 12:09 PM
I just won one of these on a cruise. I was told the same thing; that it's valued at over $500.00. After doing a bit of research, I found out that the "original" is worth around $600.00. It is a nice piece of art, but how disheartening. Posted by: Brian on February 21, 2005 3:06 PM
