So a while ago, I wrote an entry on Early Hitchcock movies. On the front page of the site (kaedrin.com), I take my blog's RSS feed and parse it out and display all of the recent posts. The only issue is that I put together the PHP code (a language I don't know very well) really quickly and it's really buggy. All sorts of special characters screw it up, most notably ampersands and quotation marks (because both of those are used in the xml, so when my lame script attempts to parse it, it thinks that the & that's in the title is actually something else, and so it interprets it funny and so on). So every now and again, you'll see something weird on the front page. Sometimes there's no apparent reason for why there's a blank bullet point or a truncated word, but it happens anyway.

So tonight, I stopped by the front page and noticed that one of my entries appears to be titled "cock." Hmmm. That doesn't sound right. It turns out that it's linking to my Early Hitchcock entry. Hehe.

I'll have to replace that script somehow. In any case, I need to upgrade the RSS so that it contains full entries anyway (RSS 2.0 would probably be available then too) so I might as well do that at the same time. In fact, there are several things I need to do to the blog to make it more usable... We'll see how it all goes I guess...

Anyway, I thought that was funny:P
