The way I see
it is all that mumbo-jumbo about weapons programs was mere foreplay
leading up to the climax of: We believe he has in fact reconstituted
nuclear weapons. It just "accidentially" happens to be the most
damning and headline-grabbing indictment of the day. Funny how the
Bush administration tends to have a lot of these "accidents". When
an "accident" has the effect of furthering one's particular agenda,
it might just not have been an "accident". But then there's
plausible deniability.
And tallman, why did Cheney wait until
September 14th to make a correction, and only when confronted?
