I misspoke! See how easy that is! I said: it is clear that Cheney does not believe that Saddam actually had a working nuclear weapon, and he makes several statements to the contrary during the course of the interview. By "several statements to the contrary" I mean that he made several statements that Saddam is just trying to get or produce weapons (or will try to get or produce them). Grammatically, you could have taken the sentence the wrong way. I apologize for any inconveniece:P ~tallman
